I made the wife a promise that I would try to not buy any more toys until we have the budget for it, and for the most part I'm doing pretty good. My last McF was the case of MM6 I had to have, and she rewarded me with S23 Spawn and Al at Christmas. In the meantime, aside from the occasional Hotwheels and maybe four HeroClix boosters, I've kept my word at the toy stores. But then I had a rash with eBay, but it has snowballed. Since last August, I've won six auctions all for Mage Knight figs, and even including shipping I'm averaging 10% on retail. I received around 700 little plastic warriors this way. Ok, way more than I need, so I started trading here and there on WK's forum to thin down the numbers. Instead, I keep getting really generous offers, and while my MK collection hasn't reduced enough to noticed my HeroClix collection is booming again. Well, it's always great getting toys in the mail, especially when hard times made it seem like I would have to drop the hobby altogether or worse (sell), but instead I still have new plastic coming in. Now I just need to get more boxes. And it's not that I insist on trading up - I just can't believe my good fortune first at getting the stuff so cheaply, and then again at the fact that it's growing. Things like this just don't happen to me often.
That's all.

sounds like a good thing, for the most part.
